Attire to Bring
Bend is a high desert environment with low humidity year round. Summers are hot and dry with cooler evenings. Temperature ranges from 50s in eve and 80-90s during the day. A helpful weather site: http://www.wunderground.com/US/OR/Bend/KCVO.html Bring shorts, long pants, layers, rain jacket, comfy foot wear with closed toes for outside work, a sun hat and sun block. Also bring slip on shoes/slippers/flip flops for inside wear at the Center. Since we’re working outside mostly in the pens and fields, we ask you don’t wear your barn shoes inside. Bend is a very casual city, no need to bring dressy clothes.
