Crescent Moon Alpacas
Crescent Moon Ranch began in 1996 on San Juan Island, Washington State by Joseph and Diane Nelson and Jerry Dunne. With a vision that included raising and promoting alpacas on lush green pastures and wide open spaces, they did just that. They purchased an old run down cow pasture and converted it into a show place for alpacas, which eventually included an alpaca country store on the Crescent Moon property. In 2002 the operation was moved to Terrebonne, Oregon and the story line remains the same. In the high desert of Central Oregon all 135 acres of the ranch property have been fenced and put under irrigation. We established an Alpaca Boutique both on the ranch and in downtown Bend, Oregon.
As a family operation our goals are simple and unified:
1. The health and well being of the alpaca.
2. Raving customers
3. The continuous improvement of the Crescent Moon Herd.
4. The enjoyment of the alpaca, the industry and the people within the industry that we are so fond of.
Come take a "walk on the moon". We think that you`ll be glad that you landed there!
